- What will I learn?
Motivating assignments permit you to explore their creative potential with a range of traditional silver based methods and contemporary digital practices.
A range of studio, darkroom and computer aided design techniques are on offer to stretch and challenge individual learners. This course has been designed to accommodate a variety of educational learning styles with the focus on both vocational and academic practice.
You will be encouraged to work in an environment linked to current industry practice and will have the opportunity to attend educational visits, meet with visiting lecturers and study professional practices.
- Additional Information Students can progress into higher education on a related course, or go straight into industry, by, for example starting their own business.

In previous years, students on this pathway have gone on to have a career as a photographer working in industries such as studio photography, fashion, marketing and advertising. This course has a 94% success rate, which is above the National Average for students doing this type of course, and last year a high percentage of students went on to work in the photographic industry and study photography at Higher Education level at some of the top Universities in the country.

Continuous assessment through practical work, assignments and project led exercises with a final major project in the final term.
